There's a Name for Everything!! --- Genitive (genitiv)

You use the genitive to show ownership.
(It is my sister's car.)

There are two ways to write the genitive form, when talking about people and animals:

Use 's (if there is one owner)
"the man's wallet"

or
Use only ' (if there are many owners)
"the puppies' basket"

John's children - Johns barn
The boy's toy - Pojkens leksak
The girls' shoes - Flickornas skor
